Red group

We are Big group now!

We start our Big group with 25 children. We are so happy to be together again and hope that this year will be a year full of programmes and experiences. We are preparing to go to the Puppet Theatre and also go hiking in Visegrád. Fortunately our group is really open-minded and interested. They are happy to take part in hiking, listening to music and crafting. After gaining so many different experiences, we are looking forward to the school years to follow.

Anikó Lencsés
teacher

I’ve been working at Daisy Kindergarten since 1993. My specialty is educating children to love and  preserve nature. In my opinion, it is important to have a warm, cheerful environment in the kindergarten, where happy, well-balanced, curious and open-minded  children can grow and develop.

Anita Becskereki
teacher

I graduated from ELTE with a degree in pre-school education in 2006, and have been working with children ever since. I began my career as an educator in the XII. district and joined Daisy Kindergarten in 2015. I have a daughter and a son, both of whom spent their kindergarten years here, at Daisy Kindergarten.

I have an  internal need  to continuously develop my professional knowledge. I think it is  important to establish a relaxed, warm atmosphere in the group and support the children in resolving any tensions they may have.  It makes me happy to see the different personalities of the children blossom over these past three years, and as a result, I can help them develop through differentiation.

Anika Harsányi
English Teacher

My name is Anika and I was born in Australia. I first  joined the Bilingual Program 13 years ago, working as an English kindergarten teacher at Daisy Kindergarten.

I  am currently the Main English Teacher for Daisy group at Colourful Kindergarten.

I have been fortunate enough to experience teaching in all different age groups and the joy that comes with it. It is truly a wonderful adventure to be a part of and watch the children’s individual development over the years.

Music has always been a part of my life and growing up I played the violin for 7 years. I love applying music in the children’s daily life; singing and playing educational activities with them all day brings me so much joy!

My main focus is to help the children enjoy, feel comfortable and gain confidence using English.

Lisa Webber
English teacher

My name is Lisa, I am from South Africa and I have completed my degree in Human Resource Management. I started working with Bilingual in June 2022 and I will be working in both Daisy and Colourful kindergartens this coming school year. At Daisy Kindergarten I will be spending 2 days in Red group  and at Colourful kindergarten I will be spending one day in Tulip group and one day in Daisy group. I’m looking forward to spending the year with different age groups and I strive to make the group room a fun and exciting environment for all the children. I enjoy being around people and building new relationships. I am a positive person and like new adventures. I'm looking forward to getting to know all the children and to have an exciting year together!

Amy Swartz
English teacher

My name is Amy Swartz and I have been an English Teacher at Daisy and Colorful Kindergartens since moving to Budapest in 2018. I was born and raised in Palm Springs, California, but before moving to Hungary, I lived in Dallas, Texas. Since moving here, I not only fell in love with the city, but also with the kindergarten. The Bilingual Program allows the children to be immersed in the English language on a daily basis. Watching the children do activities in both English and Hungarian is truly astounding and I am grateful to be a part of it. I am looking forward to continuing playing more games, reading stories, and singing more songs with the children!
